We all have a story. In 2001, I became a victim of domestic violence. Emotionally, it was one of the most difficult times of my life. I realized that I had a choice to make, and I decided that it was time to begin my recovery and healing process.
I needed an outlet for my mental and emotional well-being, and after watching a show about painting, I decided to give it a try. I purchased painting supplies and began to teach myself, and I fell in love with it!
The technique I use is called “One Stroke.” After much practice, I began to sell a few pieces here and there. It was just what I needed! In 2009, I had to take some time away from painting because I was a single mom, and I just did not have the time needed to paint.
In 2018 I was able to start painting on a regular basis again, and I rediscovered that this truly is my happiness, my calling! I am happy and fulfilled when I paint! It is a joy to continue my growth as an artist, learning new methods and techniques! I am happy to be able to share my work and consider it an honor when someone purchases one of them. I feel as if they have invited me into their lives and home!
I hope the pieces I create mean as much to the purchaser as they do to me!
I am looking forward to working with you!
